Finally, a viral post generator for LinkedIn posts so you can spend more time on #career #goals | Jennifer Wong

I am so honored that The Guardian has asked me to write an article about LinkedIn’s viral post generator. Humiliated, but not surprised, if I’m honest, after so many years of hard work! #it’s worth it

It’s a BIG MILESTONE in my career to cover a story about AI generating nasty viral posts for LinkedIn so you don’t have to (#win). It just shows that if you put in the effort, you will be rewarded 10 times.

You can learn that from me – it’s my own “inspirational tip” that I inserted into the generator. And it’s the reason why you’re thinking right now, “How come I keep reading this?” and yet you can’t look away, such is the power of AI; Just kidding, I’m a real person writing this 🙂

It all started two days ago. I asked my editor if he could write an article about the AI generator invented by Tom Orbach using 100,000 real LinkedIn posts to teach him the language of inspiring shame.

“Are you sure you’re ready to write about that?” she asked.

I’ve been lucky enough to have some wonderful editors throughout my career, but I couldn’t believe she would doubt me.

I immediately told him: “I am”. And then I sat across from her and wrote this article before her very eyes.

Oh yeah. She felt amazing. I wondered why.

Why did it mean so much to me to write about a website where you could write your achievement and tips, and then select a level of “shame”, after which a viral LinkedIn post would go off?

Why?

Everyday people have good ideas every day, but why was I blessed with THIS story idea?

I think I know the reason. This is why:

HR: There is a gap of two years on your CV.

Me: Yes, I was studying an investment course.

HR: Please explain.

Me: I was investing…in myself.

HR: Welcome to the company. We are here. Like you.

See, when you invest in yourself, you can’t stand editors asking if you’re not good enough to write about an AI generator for viral LinkedIn posts.

Because one day, after YEARS of enduring this, everything changes.

Finally, now for the first time in my life, I have the RIGHT MINDSET. Instead of writing about something else, I insist on writing this article. Not doing this earlier was my BIG MISTAKE.

Moral of the story? Don’t try to write like an AI builder if you don’t secretly believe you could be an AI builder. Just don’t do it.

As I begin to reach the end of this article, I am honored and excited to announce that I have finished the beginning and middle of this piece.

There were many others who started writing articles today and yet this is the article you are reading!

Now here’s the thing: I’m not special just because I wrote the introduction and body of this article. Other people also write introductions and article bodies.

But *I* am unique because of my way of thinking: be the AI you want to see in your viral post builder.

Because of that alone, I got to where I am today. Yay me!

My advice as an influencer? Besides asking a lot of rhetorical questions? Write as if you were a bot. The rest will happen by itself.

#I did it
