The club made a “poll” for the Wolves striker: the player “came back into fashion” on the interested side

Back at Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, it seems that Patrick Cutrone already has new fans who would like to sign him in the final month of the transfer window.

According to Italian media claims, it is now Parma who are interested in taking the 24-year-old from Molineux.

12 TV Parma (via Forza Parma) reports that in ‘last hours’, the Serie B team did a poll for the Wolves player.

It is said that Parma had already taken an interest in him in the past, having approached him “several times”, and now his name “is back in fashion” at the club.

There are no details on whether the Italian outfit would like to sign him on loan or permanently, although it is unlikely they will be able to pay a large fee for his purchase.

Cutrone, signed by AC Milan in an €18m deal in 2019, has been away from Wolves for some time. In January 2020 he was loaned out to Fiorentina, and since then he has had consecutive spells at Valencia and then at Empoli, having returned this summer.

It’s probably safe to say Bruno Lage isn’t counting on him, and with his contract expiring in 2023, that’s a good chance to find a reasonable deal with Parma.
