At Oysho we are looking for a Sport senior fashion buyer to join us at our Headquarters in Tordera, Barcelona, Spain.
Your main functions would be:
Analyze the sales of the previous year and the main trends of the season to identify the main sales requirements. Work with the design team in the selection of the initial and final product, taking into account factors such as the weather, the main trends of the season and the sales requirements according to the sales of the previous year. Define the final purchase structure once the product has been selected and the budget has been sent by the management control department for the purchase of families and sub-families. Maintain a strong working relationship with suppliers to ensure a cooperative approach is maintained at all times and negotiate the best terms (prices and delivery dates). Supervise production to ensure compliance with the agreed terms and conditions. Carry out sample fit tests with the pattern making/quality and design teams and provide feedback to suppliers to adjust and improve samples. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity to ensure uniqueness and novelty in the purchasing approach.

To be successful in this role, you must have a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate:
Between 3 and 4 years of experience (similar position or retail sector). That you have an analytical profile, with negotiation skills and sensitivity for fashion and the product (fabrics, qualities, prints). Higher education degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management or Business Sciences. High level of English and Spanish.
