Kevin Durant viral tweet amid trade rumors

On Saturday, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant sent out a tweet that went viral on Twitter.

Durant: “Those who were locked in that gym with me know what it is, they know what I am. If you haven’t been there with me, ask around.”

Durant is in the midst of a lot of trade rumors as, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, he has requested a trade and the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat are two of the teams he wants to send to as well.

Durant and the Nets had a rough season as they had been predicted to be one of the teams to play for an NBA Championship, but lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Boston Celtics.

To make matters worse, they didn’t lose in a competitive series.

In fact, they were completely swept by the Celtics.

The loss sent a lot of criticism towards Durant and co-star Kyrie Irving.

Right now, by all accounts, it looks like the two stars ended up in Brooklyn.

Wojnarowski tweeted Thursday: “Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks is working with Kevin Durant and his business manager Rich Kleiman to find a trade for the star of the franchise, Kleiman told ESPN.”

As for Irving, it also seems like he doesn’t want to be there anymore.

“Kyrie Irving is telling everyone that he plans to go to Los Angeles, I mean, the Lakers as soon as he can,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith reported Thursday.

Until they move, many rumors are likely to continue.
