Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may be divorced, but the rapper still wants to style his ex.
West, who recently sparked outrage by including “White Lives Matter” T-shirts in his latest Yeezy show, was apparently not a fan of Kardashian’s outfits at February’s Milan Fashion Week.
On Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” the 41-year-old Skims founder shared some of West’s critical text messages with her team.
As well as criticizing the white Prada sunglasses that she paired with an all-black latex look, West, 45, had a particular problem with the brand’s shiny oversized Kardashian jumpsuit.
“The orange look made me so mad, I would have gone to jail before I got out with that,” West wrote in a text message, according to Kardashian.

Interestingly, Kardashian wore a similar Balmain style to Paris Fashion Week with West in 2020.

Despite her ex’s harsh words, the mother of four didn’t seem to take much offence.
“While we’re here in Milan, Kanye has the kids at home and he can’t help it. We can laugh at things we like or don’t like. No matter how crazy things get sometimes, we will always be a family,” he said in a confessional, adding that he will make fun of West’s outfits in return.
“I’ll text him and say, ‘You know, you’ve been wearing those boots for a long time, so when you’re ready to change your outfit, let me know and then you can give me a tip on mine.’ ”
West went through Kardashian’s wardrobe when the couple started dating in 2012 and proceeded to dress her throughout their relationship.
Following the duo’s split in early 2021, Kardashian admitted she was having “panic attacks” without West as her stylist. The rapper, for her part, apparently told her ex that he wanted to “drop everything and dedicate her life” to dressing her.
He certainly hasn’t been a fan of some of her post-divorce duds; after Kardashian paired a Fendi x Skims leather dress with matching gloves for WSJ. magazine’s 2021 Innovators Awards, West compared the look to something Marge Simpson might wear.
