For Spring/Summer 2023, Uribe made a vibrant return to the runway during the recently relaunched Los Angeles Fashion Week and celebrated Chicano culture for the latest Gypsy Sport presentation.

Always on the precipice of representing diversity and individuality within his collections, Uribe’s new SS23 offerings featured men’s and women’s models of all shapes and sizes and standout garments that were a hybrid of LA street style mixed with inclusivity. latinx.

GS ready-to-wear was made up of luxurious red, cream and white flannel-style checks, along with royal blue and dark blue denim, elegant red satins and white crepe embossed with the “GS” planetary logo. Women’s slip dresses with spaghetti straps, billowing tulles, corset denim pieces and off-the-shoulder tops floated down the runway. While soft-style zoot suits, roomy skate shorts and oversized vests made up the men’s offerings.

Commenting on Gypsy Sport’s return to the runway, Uribe exclusively told Hypebeast: “I feel like there’s a recharge in Los Angeles for fashion, art and music, and people are paying attention to Los Angeles like never before.” .
