Girl caught copying her grandmother’s distinctive walk in hilarious viral video

A three-year-old girl has left the internet in stitches while posing as her grandmother’s ride.

In a viral video on TikTok, little girl Lucy can be seen walking down a hallway with her back hunched over and her arms in the air.

TikToker camerondeecee added a caption to the comedic video, introducing her daughter and explaining “On very important occasions, she likes to recreate how her ‘nan nan walks’ always at the most inappropriate times.”

The video has been a hit online, receiving over 422,000 likes and over two million views. You can see the video here.

While the girl impersonation is hilarious, a hunched back is no joke.

A study from the University of California, San Francisco revealed that a hunched back affects four out of 10 people over the age of 65. This extreme forward curvature of the upper back, called hyperkyphosis, increases disability and the risk of falls and fractures, but is rarely considered a treatable condition among older people.

To reduce the chance of this happening, seniors can help improve their posture by following these exercises provided by the Aspen Senior Day Center in Utah.

Some of the moves can be practiced while sitting, such as wall tilts, aimed at relieving lower back pain and improving lower back posture, and chin ups and push-ups.

Aspen Senior Day Center suggests exercises that target the cervical vertebrae (neck bones) and strengthen the pelvic and gluteal muscles.

The center also recommends regular exercise to reduce stiffness, weight control to prevent back strain, and an ergonomic chair.

It seems that little Lucy has put a smile on thousands of faces. “Lucy is funnier than half the people on this app and she knows it,” one user wrote.

The top comment, which received over 4,950 likes, read: “Been in bed with miserable covid for 4 days now and this made me laugh so hard, thanks.”

Another parent commented, “Oh my gosh, my 3-year-old daughter does this too, grabs a stick, grabs her from behind, and yells, ‘Babysitting.'”

Some commentators have agreed that “it must be a Lucy thing”, as one writes: “As the mother of a little Lucy (who is also 3 years old), they are just built differently.”

Lucy’s mother has been inundated with positive comments from strangers praising the girl’s humor.

Another wrote: “Life is falling apart but Lucy is here to walk like a grown up and I feel good again.”
