Frame your face with well-shaped eyebrows | Beauty

A younger looking face isn’t really about jars of “anti-aging” creams and potions. It’s the little things that give an air of youth. Like a cheerful demeanor, decent teeth, and a set of bushy, well-shaped eyebrows. Get it right: brow growth, cosmetics, and professional threading go a long way, and you’ll need less makeup, your face will have more lift and definition, and you’ll ultimately look like a beautiful, professionally framed photo, rather than of one that has been stuffed into a cheap ready to use.

Can’t do without… A modern toner that will lighten skin without drying it out

Many of us were taught that our skincare routine should follow very specific steps: cleanse, tone, moisturize. In the past, toner was key. We were all indoctrinated to use toners. They were supposed to cleanse and tighten pores, cleanse residue left behind by cleansers, and balance the skin. Toners were for skin care. But it was actually an oxymoron. Yes, we used them on our skin, but toners were definitely not ‘skin care’. They were hard, itchy, bare. It felt like we were putting alcohol on our skin. Which, frankly, we were. And so, finally, we all came to our senses and the tonics fell out of favour. Now, they are coming back. Fortunately, they have evolved from their predecessors. Newer formulations no longer deplete skin so intensely that it looks like a prune. They are much more sophisticated and multifaceted. I love using this toner from Bliss after cleansing as it decongests pores and removes excess oil, dead skin cells and cleanser residue making skin care much more effective. The star ingredient here is niacinamide. Not only does it help close the appearance of pores, it also has skin-smoothing abilities and protects it from environmental aggressors. But he is not aggressive. Because, unlike its previous versions, it does not contain alcohol. That in itself is happiness.
