Delta and Issa Rae Launch Collaboration at LA Fashion Week

Six small business owners and fashion designers will showcase an exclusive, limited-edition collection on the runway designed to make flying simpler and more stylish. The event will be streamed live on Delta’s Instagram and DeltaRunwayRunwayCollection.com. The collaboration highlights Issa Rae and Delta’s shared passion for amplifying and connecting small businesses with one another.

Delta arrives at Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) with its first fashion collection in an unexpected and exciting move. In collaboration with multi-hyphenate artist Issa Rae and diverse and inspiring fashion designers from across the country, Delta is equipping travelers with a line designed for style and comfort.

Dubbed “Runway Runway,” the collaboration during LAFW will kick off on Friday, October 7 at 8 pm PST at an aircraft hangar in Hawthorne, California.

The show will be streamed live on Delta’s Instagram account and on DeltaRunwayRunwayCollection.com, where viewers can share their thoughts and interact with other viewers as they watch. The live broadcast will begin at 8 pm PST (11 pm EST).

“My collaboration with Delta’s Runway Runway campaign is about more than showcasing the travel-inspired collections of these six unique creative designers,” said Issa Rae. “It’s about elevating their stories, each one deeply rooted in the belief that there is comfort in human connections, strength in being present, and inspiration in the adventures we embark on.”

As part of this event, and in an ongoing effort to support small businesses, Delta and Issa Rae will further the spirit of travel by bringing various fashion designers into the spotlight at the fashion show:

The collection showcases a globetrotter’s wardrobe created by travelers for travellers. The entire collection will be available for purchase at DeltaRunwayRunwayCollection.com when the event begins with a limited quantity of each item.
