Cher walks the Balmain runway during Paris Fashion Week 2022

Can you believe it?

Cher made a surprise cameo appearance during Paris Fashion Week 2022 on Wednesday, closing the Balmain show in a form-fitting heather black bodysuit with statement shoulders, paired with matching leggings.

The 76-year-old pop icon strutted around in a pair of black platform boots as his 1998 hit “Strong Enough” played in the background.

Cher was joined on the runway by Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing.

And the “If I Could Turn Back Time” hitmaker wasn’t the only big name model on the show; Ashley Graham and Kristen McMenamy were among the others in the cast.

Meanwhile, stars like Kylie Jenner, Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz and Dove Cameron watched the show from the front row.

“I JUST HAD THE BEST TIME, ON STAGE…FEELING GREAT,” Cher tweeted after the show.

“THE SHOW WAS PROBABLY [THE] BEST FASHION SHOW ‘EVER’… CLOTHING 2 DIE 4”.

Rousteing praised the casting success in a press release, saying, “Cher has been a bold trailblazer, a true trailblazer, for more than six decades, never slowing down, always taking us with her as she marches courageously forward.”

The designer continued, “’Style Icon’ doesn’t come close to describing her achievement in defining more than half a century of fashion trends. And, in this challenging era forcing us to fight for long overdue changes, her impressive long-term commitment to dedicated activism is an example to all.”

In fact, the trendsetting Taurus was the first in a series of daring looks that have since become ubiquitous on the red carpet, from the “naked” dress to the soaring headpiece.

“She was never intimidated by anything I put on her,” Bob Mackie, the designer behind many of Cher’s most iconic looks, told Town & Country in a recent interview. “She was just amazing in that department.”
