When we think of fashion week, Milan, Paris, New York and London come to mind.

But what about Los Angeles?

N4XT Experiences has reimagined Los Angeles Fashion Week, and former Fenty Creative Director Ciarra Pardo, who has collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, Eminem, David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and Rihanna, is bringing it back and more avant-garde never

This LAFW was an industry-focused affair with a strong hip hop bent and insightful talk, as well as the expected parties (see some of the party photos). Lighthouse Immersive ArtSpace LA, Citizen News and The West Hollywood EDITION were Official Partners of LAFW this past weekend. Bolt, Ray-Ban Stories, Red Bear Winery, Mercedes-Benz of Los Angeles, The West Hollywood EDITION were this year’s partners.

Here, Pardo, the president of Los Angeles Fashion Week, shows us five highlights of the exciting affair.

“Maxwell Osborne’s AnOnlyChild was so exciting, it came from many years of the Public School fashion brand,” said Pardo. “I’m a huge fan of how he’s creating sustainable fashion that’s cool and beautiful, it’s a brand that does it right and it’s beautiful.”

“Gypsy Sport is exciting, I have a ton of their pieces and I’m Latino, so I’m a big fan of LatinX designers,” Pardo said. “They’re into something cool, between the intersection of streetwear and sexy, beyond sweats and super sporty.”

“Sami Miro Vintage is right, he wanted to present the brand in a private, elegant and by-invitation-only environment,” said Pardo. “I support her, and all her fashion is sustainable, with recycled materials.”
