Best bet: Aces (selection). After a fierce battle in Game 3, this should be the victory for the Aces and give Las Vegas its first championship. Teams that take a 2-0 lead are 15-0 in league history in a best-of-five series. Not surprisingly, the Sun won Game 3. So far this postseason, Connecticut has avoided elimination by the Dallas Wings and Chicago Sky. The Sun are the first team since the 2018 Phoenix Mercury to win four games when facing elimination in a single postseason.

DeWanna Bonner’s performance in Game 3 made the difference for the Sun; she had been non-existent in the first two games of the series. It’s time for Las Vegas to end its season now that the Aces have been reminded how lethal and resilient Connecticut can be. The Aces will make some adjustments, increase their level of intensity, cover the spread and come out on top in Game 4. — Eric Moody

Best bet: Sun (selection). The Sun’s landslide victory in Game 3 made a statement. They didn’t just look for a close victory so they wouldn’t be swept away; instead, they delivered a commanding performance to make a statement. If the old adage that a series doesn’t start until a team wins on the road is true, then this series hasn’t started yet. And I don’t think it will start on Sunday, as the Sun will once again have their home court and the crowd behind them. Because Sun won Game 5 in the last round in Chicago, then went straight to Las Vegas for Games 1 and 2 of this series, they were away from home for a full week straight. They clearly got a load out of their homecoming, and I agree with BPI that there’s a strong chance they’ll win again and send this series back to Las Vegas for the deciding Game 5. — André Snellings
