This is what to look for today:

Connecticut Sun at Dallas Wings

9:00 p.m., College Park Center, Arlington

Line: Sun (-6)
money line: Sun (-267), Wings (+215)
Total: 165 points
BPI Earning %: Sun (62.7%)

Probable: Arike Ogunbowale (abdomen)

Best Bet: Sun -6. The numbers tell me to go with the Sun to cover this. Like when Chicago lost to New York in Game 1, and Sky came out and dominated in Game 2 and I think this will happen with Connecticut. The Sun haven’t lost consecutive games from June 19-22 and are rebounding well after a loss (+14.0 PPG differential after a loss this season). They also averaged the highest PPG differential on the road in the league this regular season at +7.7. Connecticut has experience on its side having reached the semifinals in each of the last three years. I don’t see them breaking that streak this year. –Jennifer LaCroix

Best bet: Over 165. In Game 2, it was apparent on film and in the scorecard that Sun underestimated Wings. Dallas outscored Connecticut 13-6 in transition, 23-11 in second-chance points and nearly matched them in paint points, 40-42. Not bad for a Wings team without Arike Ogunbowale. The winner of tonight’s Game 3 will feature a different Sun team. As a result, I like it more. The total has been exceeded in six of the Wings’ last seven games. To change history, the Sun will do everything in his power to win this game. Going 7-14 in franchise history going into elimination, Connecticut is tied for the lowest winning percentage in league history going into that situation. –Eric Moody
