You know we’re nosy when it comes to fashion, and you trust us to ask the most stylish people on the internet, “Where did you get that?” (No surveillance here!)

Since New York Fashion Week happens to be the biggest real-life gathering of New York’s most stylish people, we not only captured the best street style looks, but we got attendees talking about which designers are on their radar, how they dress. the clothes and, of course, where to get them.

We’ve spoken at length with stylist Michelle Li about her style and how she skillfully mixes her wardrobe pieces together.

Take this as a sign that long skirts are less of a trend and more of a fall essential. Designer Kiran Kaur paired her maxi skirt with a strappy crop top by Isa Boulder that’s perfect for the uncomfortable New York weather that’s not over yet but fall hasn’t arrived yet.

Why wear one blazer when you can wear two? Check out a styling hack we can’t wait to recreate. Stylist Alexis Badiyi layered a blazer from Ukrainian label Bevza over another from Mirror Palais and wore it as a dress. Badiyi finished off the look by proving that he’s never too early for fall style with a pair of knee-high boots from Argentinian brand Dubié.

Agency owner Remy Holwick proves you can still wear your sandals when the weather turns cold. These platform Dr. Martens perfectly balance the Bevza pants and the floor-skimming tank top.

Another style trick: wear your dress under your t-shirt. Finish the look with ankle boots and you have another transitional outfit idea.

Welcome to a master class in creating monochrome looks courtesy of creator Maryam Adebisi. The key here is not just mixing shades of brown, but also mixing textures. Adebisi opted for a Hanifa top, a Christopher Esber knit skirt, and last but not least, a patterned bag from Jumz Accessories.
