Jalynne Crawford joined 95.7 The Game’s “Willard and Dibs” on Wednesday afternoon, where she opened up about the viral moment. She revealed the strange reason why her children were awake and watching her father’s big home run after she had previously put them to bed.
“It’s a funny story, because I actually had them in bed and every night I have to turn off the game and they’re very disappointed,” Crawford explained. “Like, ‘Do we have to wait until morning to find out if we win or lose?’ I put them to bed and I turned off all the TVs and I went to take our dogs out and when we were going back in there was a huge tarantula by our door and I called my dad he knew the game was on I was following me around phone, and my dad said: ‘you have to get the children out of bed, they love spiders, it is very rare to see a tarantula’.
“So I went to find the three kids who were still awake, they didn’t fall asleep right away, unfortunately that’s the norm. And they were so excited about the chandelier and I saw what happened on my phone and I ran to turn off the chandelier.” . I turned on the television and watched the home run go over the wall live. So I didn’t tell the kids, they just heard me scream about maybe the spider. So I rewound the TV and I just took a video of them, because I don’t want to tell them what happened, I wanted their natural reaction and I took the video and I sent it to our families and the guys in the clubhouse were showing it (Brandon) “.

The Crawfords not only have a memory that will last a lifetime, but they also have an interesting new pet with a great name.
