The payments to Hervé Pierre Braillard offer a window into the many ways Trump, who is not running for office, can use his PAC money.

Save America paid Hervé Pierre Braillard $60,000, according to FEC records. Experts said the payments are allowed through a loophole that the FEC will not close.

The fund affiliated with former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election paid $60,000 to a fashion designer known for styling Melania Trump’s wardrobe when the couple was in the White House.

The Save America political action committee distributed the money to Hervé Pierre Braillard in four installments beginning April 7 and ending June 24, according to records filed with the Federal Election Commission. The committee reported that these payments were all for “strategic consulting.” It is not clear what specifically paid the money.
