The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua has three new lifestyle boutiques: Maui Now

On the heels of its recent $100 million resort-wide transformation, The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announced the expansion and elevation of its retail experience with three new boutiques: Hue Home + Design, a home and lifestyle brand; BikiniBird, a clothing and swimwear store; and The Shop by WHEAT, featuring a curated collection of casual luxury essentials for men, women and children.

“Guests have the opportunity to shop for treasured souvenirs and then enjoy Kai Café for coffee and ice cream, or Alaloa Lounge for cocktails and sushi, all with stunning views of Honokahua Bay,” according to the announcement.

“We continue to look for ways to enhance the guest experience and introduce our guests to the local way of life,” Andrew Rogers, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, said in a press release. “Hue, BikiniBird and The Shop by WHEAT are the perfect complements to the resort, allowing us to showcase Hawaii’s hottest designers and artists.”

Maui-based Hue Home + Design features classic coastal furniture and home decor. In the shop, guests can browse reclaimed wood furniture, peruse pillows and throws made from vintage textiles, and admire beach and ocean-inspired tableware and pottery. Hue Home + Design offers guests the opportunity to recreate their Kapalua vacation at home. Hue is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm

BikiniBird, founded by Oʻahu’s Tiana Gamble, specializes in designer swimwear, apparel and accessories, including many Hawaii-based designers. Guests will discover fresh tropical fashions. BikiniBird is open every day from 9 am to 6 pm

Founded in 2017 by husband and wife Huw Collins and Molly Shaheen, WHEAT embodies the sense of wanderlust in modern travelers. The Shop offers a curated collection of men’s and women’s casual luxury essentials from leading contemporary designers, including its own brand The WHEAT Collection. WHEAT also has a space dedicated exclusively to children’s clothing called WHEATIES. Both locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
