Despite the iconic allure attached to classic blue denim, it’s quite a polluting fabric. So, to challenge the garment’s impact on the environment, Gypsy Sport designer Rio Uribe partnered with online luxury resale marketplace The RealReal to create a genderless collection of repurposed denim. Using signature denim treatments and Gypsy Sport applications, vintage items that would not otherwise be sold at The RealReal were reimagined into pieces like jeans, jackets, corsets, a mini dress and more. They’ll be waiting for a new home at TheRealReal.com and The RealReal’s Brooklyn store.

Designed together with Hayato Koshizuka of Kamuy Vintage and rooted in the essence of inspiring thoughtful relationships with what we own and consume , this trendy variety uses unique embroidery and screen-printed patterns to breathe new life into old things.
