The New York Fashion Week schedule for 2023 is here

New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2023 season is right around the corner, kicking off again on September 9, and the calendar is packed with the iconic house names and “It” brands of the moment. Spring-summer is always a fun season, and we look forward to the debuts of collections from artists like Eckhaus Latta, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Proenza Schouler, Dion Lee, and more. But one name that stands out in particular is Tommy Hilfiger, the iconic New York brand that will return after a 3-year hiatus in the calendar with a show and an interactive in-person and online experience.

The anticipated show will take place on Sunday, September 11 at 7 p.m. EDT in Greenpoint Brooklyn, marking the first time the designer has held a show since the last one in London in early 2020.

“My heart immediately went to the iconic creative culture of New York when I thought about where to launch our fashion return week. This is where fashion, art, music and entertainment came together when I started in the industry,” Hilfiger said in an official statement. “And today, it is still this focus that inspires me to engage with cutting-edge communities building new creative experiences. This season is all about the collision of my favorite archive inspirations with new live event concepts and virtual worlds. It’s the perfect expression of what we stand for as we pay homage to our roots with a return to NYFW.”

The show will also be part of the brand’s “see now buy now” business model that launched in 2016, showcasing Hilfiger’s Fall 22 collection instead of Spring Summer 23. The show will also take place digitally with a live stream on Roblox, the online gaming platform the brand has been collaborating with since December 2021. Roblox’s 50 million daily users will be invited to witness the parade and have the opportunity to purchase exclusive items for their own digital avatars through measure that is carried out.

As for the other brand we’ll be keeping an eye on during the week, we’re expecting Proenza Schouler at another opening location on September 9th at 4pm; Eckhaus Latta at 1 pm and Dion Lee at 4 pm on September 10; Ulla Johnson at 10 am and Sandy Liang at 12 pm on September 11; Maryam Nassir Zadeh at 12:00 pm, Area at 4:00 pm, and PRISCAvera at 6:00 pm on September 12; Maisie Wilen at 3 pm and Peter Do at 4 pm on September 13.

The full schedule is posted on the official NYFW site, for information on all other shows.
