The Foot Locker Foundation, Inc., the charitable arm of Foot Locker, Inc., the New York-based specialty athletic retailer, brought together members of the footwear, fashion and athletic industries for its annual fundraising gala. funds “On Our Feet” on Thursday, June 2 at Pier Sixty in New York City at Chelsea Piers.

The theme of this year’s event, “Getting Back on Our Feet,” was a celebration of how far we’ve come in the past two years and an important reminder of the work that lies ahead to improve youth upward mobility and build a more equitable world. and inclusive for all.
“The On Our Feet gala has long highlighted the importance of community service, empowerment and investment in the next generation of change makers,” said Richard Johnson, president and chief executive officer of Foot Locker, Inc. “The event of this year is particularly poignant as we get closer to getting back on our feet to recognize how much progress we have made together and the opportunities that lie ahead. Representatives from sports and athletic retailers including Nike, Adidas, Converse, Puma, Champion, Crocs, New Balance, Reebok, Under Armor and Vans were in attendance along with the event’s guest of honor, Shaheen Holloway, who was joined by the emcee of the night. , Christian Crosby, for an onstage interview about community investment, perseverance, and the importance of giving back.
