And, “with the popularity of the bouncy bang in the last year, face-framing will be even bigger in 2023,” says Laura Elliot, director of education for hair care professionals Salon Promotions. “Feathered styles, curtain bangs and long layers are face-framing cuts and growing up. Bounce and texture will be prominent next year, with a desire among customers for naturally healthy looking locks.” As for how to make it work for you, “consider all the ways you like to wear your hair,” says Laura. “If you like being able to scrape it all off at once, opt for longer layers instead of shorter, choppy bangs that will sit permanently on your face and brows.”
