On Thursday, adidas announced that it was putting the YEEZY partnership “under review.” In a statement given to Hypebeast, the company said that “all [its] successful partnerships are based on mutual respect and shared values” and that “after repeated efforts to resolve the situation privately, we have made the decision to review the partnership”. Paris Fashion Week wrapped up its Spring/Summer 2023 runway shows earlier this week, marking the conclusion of this season’s fashion month. With more than 50 shows, PFW had a lot to offer and one trend did rise to the surface: androgynous costumes.

Those presenting genderless versions of formal wear included Botter, who started the week with heart-shaped lapels on suits, and The Row by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who debuted boxy blazers and wide-leg pants. Additionally, Valentino welcomed a series of tailored, relaxed-fit combinations; Vivienne Westwood and GmBH revealed rebellious and punk outfits that blended ’80s rave culture with maximalism; and Thom Browne, of course, put the men in pleated kilts.

Jared Leto revealed that he is making a movie about Karl Lagerfeld

Jared Leto is slated to star in an upcoming movie about legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, according to WWD. Leto’s production label with Emma Ludbrook, Paradox, will co-produce the project with Lagerfeld’s House of Karl Lagerfeld.

The close confidants of the late Chanel visionary, Pier Paolo Righi, Caroline Lebar and Sébastien Jondeau, are the executive producers of the film. A director is not yet attached to the project, as the producers are currently in talks with several filmmakers.

Plot details for the film are not available, although it is known that it will focus on Lagerfeld’s close circle, shown through a single lens. Stay tuned for more information when it becomes available.

To toast APC’s 35th anniversary, Founder and Creative Director Jean Touitou chose to collaborate with himself on a collection titled “APC TOUITOU Interaction #17.”

APC, which stands for Atelier de Production et de Création, rarely produces flashy pieces, so it was only natural that Touitou’s latest installment would arrive in monochrome. Letting the tailoring and fabrications speak for themselves, the collection features a bevy of military-inspired P43 uniforms with velcro logo patches and detachable star pins, “Verdurin” branded varsity jackets, washed indigo jeans and sweaters.
