I always look forward to asking BAZAAR editors for their most wanted fashion gifts, genuinely. The team spends the entire year soaking up the fashion week runways while making mental notes of what we would want and how we would wear it. Then, when it’s finally time to start thinking about the best luxury gifts to receive and give (FYI: That’s now), we can get out our fancy wish lists before someone can say, “Would you like to wrap it up for yourself?” gift?”
This year our editors are wishing for two types of holiday gifts. At a campsite, there are indulgent upgrades for forever pieces like black leather boots, cozy wool coats, and fancy watches—gifts no one will care to wear (and love). In the other, there are luxury pieces that are not exactly practical; they are more like little treasures that we will treasure for eternity, like a crystal-encased Prada bag. Some of the best fashion gifts aren’t necessarily clothes, either: One editor has his eye on Dior’s sprawling perfume gift set, while another crosses his fingers for a piece from Athena Calderone’s lively Crate & Barrel collaboration.
