Saint Laurent and Maison Margiela return to the provisional men’s calendar in Paris – WWD

PARIS — All 81 events of the Fall 2023 Paris Men’s Week will be physical, according to the provisional calendar released Friday by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

The menswear collections will be unveiled between January 17-22, with 48 shows and 33 presentations, beginning with the 5:30pm Wales Bonner show on the first day.

As previously reported, Saint Laurent will return to Paris with a 9pm show on January 17 for its menswear collection. In recent years, Anthony Vaccarello has shown his menswear designs in Marrakech; Jersey City, New Jersey; Venice, Italy and Malibu, California.

Returning after a years-long absence is Maison Margiela, which showcased John Galliano’s first, and only, to date, Artisanal men’s collection in 2018, and ready-to-wear men’s collections before that. His show will take place on January 22 at 8:00 p.m.

With Rick Owens and Louis Vuitton, respectively, at 12:30 p.m. family settings.

And come January, there will be another Emily in Paris: designer Emily Bode.

His brand of six years revealed on Wednesday that he intended to return to the official Paris menswear calendar this season, with his show now confirmed for 6:30pm on January 21.

Botter, Sacai and White Mountaineering will also walk for their Fall 2023 collections.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who was recently appointed artistic director of Ann Demeulemeester, will return to the men’s calendar on January 22 at 10am for his eponymous gender-fluid label’s fall 2023 collection, after revealing his spring collection of 2023 during the past collections of women’s clothing.

Presentations will also be abundant in the six-day program.

The fall 2023 season will see the return of Berluti, with an all-day presentation on January 18. The brand had not appeared on the official calendar since January 2021. It had announced that it would “take a new approach to the collection calendar, choosing its own path to present its exceptional products, including collaborative projects and pieces” after announcing the departure of its artistic director Kris Van Assche in April 2021.

This season’s newcomer is 032c, the Berlin-based cult magazine’s clothing line, designed by co-founder Maria Koch, who will make a presentation on January 20.

Now firmly entrenched, the digital content will be broadcast on the federation’s dedicated platform, via pre-recorded films, live streams or post-show editions.

Among those who will sit in on this session are Thom Browne, Craig Green, Rhude and Celine. The latest release from the Hedi Slimane-designed house was the women’s fall 2023, which showed on December 8 in Los Angeles.
