It comes as Nicole recently revealed how her early days in Hollywood were made possible by some of her Australian friends.
The Academy Award-winning actress told Australia’s National Film and Sound Archive in a taped interview that her good friends Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness were supportive of her, even sleeping on her couch while she auditioned for roles in Los Angeles. .
‘[Deborra-Lee] she was one of my best friends,’ the Dead Calm star said, adding that the fellow actress always gave her a place to stay when she flew in from Australia.

‘[I slept on the couch] in the house that Deborra-Lee was renting, and she gave us the opportunity to stay there and we were able to go to the audition,’ said Nicole.
“It was expensive, we couldn’t afford hotels, so the idea of being downtown together outside of a house was really, I mean, my God.”
She added, “You would go back and forth and spend a few weeks and do some auditions and hope you would figure it out.”
Nicole has previously revealed how Deborra-Lee, 66, and Hugh, 53, helped her after her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2001.

“When I got divorced, Hugh and Deb were a big part of my healing,” she said in a candid interview with Australian Women’s Weekly.

Like Nicole, Hugh and Deborra-lee were part of a small group of budding Australian actors living in Hollywood in the 1980s.
Deborra-lee first met Nicole when she was “couch surfing” in Los Angeles as a teenager before being cast in Days of Thunder, where she met Tom.
“I remember Tom Cruise calling the house when he got the part [in Days of Thunder]. Nic was always great and he took it all in stride,” said Deborra-lee.
After splitting from Tom, 59, Nicole met her second husband, Keith Urban, 54.
