New fashion sustainability podcast ‘Hot Buttons’ enters the chat – World Water Day

News of a new sustainable fashion podcast called “Hot Buttons” just came off the press.

The show will stream June 16 on Spotify, Apple Music, and wherever the podcasts are streaming. Produced by Post Script Media Inc., Hot Buttons will follow in the footsteps of Post Script’s other podcasts (all with a climate bent), including “Catalyst,” reporting on the latest climate technology with investor Shayle Kann, and “The Big Switch” detailing a roadmap to net zero buildings.

Hosted by journalist Christina Binkley, circularity consultant and Circular Services Group founder Rachel Kibbe, and Thrilling co-founder Shilla Kim-Parker, Hot Buttons aims to bring awareness to sustainable fashion in a weekly news digest format. While the discussion is primarily focused on sustainable fashion trends, the show will cover the people, policies, technological innovations, culture and fashion companies that are doing right or wrong for sustainable consumers.

Scott Clavenna, co-founder and CEO of Post Script, expressed his enthusiasm for the program. “They have a lot of fun talking to each other, and they’re involved enough in the industry to make every conversation one where I walk away surprised and amused and hoping for more.”

With all the co-hosts helping to set the stage in the podcast trailer, in a clip released this week, Rachel Kibbe summed up the inherent need to air hot takes on sustainable fashion: “Fashion is a dirty industry and its environmental impact is not It’s no secret. But as the fashion industry becomes more concerned with sustainability, it continues to produce more products than ever.”
