Burnley are reportedly close to a deal for Southampton forward Nathan Tella as they try to increase their attacking options.
The Clarets are eager to get stronger up front given injuries to Jay Rodriguez and Scott Twine, and Vincent Kompany has identified the 23-year-old Tella as an option. The Telegraph claims a deal is close for the leader. It is understood that it would be a loan movement.
Tella joined Southampton in 2017 having gone through his early football education at Arsenal. He made his first-team debut for the Saints in a 3-0 win over Norwich in June 2020.
