MANCHESTER United manager Erik ten Hag has pulled off a fashionable hat-trick: wearing the same outfit for three days in a row.

The 52-year-old recently signed a three-year deal at a “record” salary for the Reds.

But despite being destined to become the highest-paid Dutchman in Premier League history, he was unable to change out of his pristine white kit for 72 hours despite visiting two restaurants.

A source said: “It is possibly one of the most impressive tricks performed by a United staff member this season.

“She went to an Italian restaurant and managed to not get marinara sauce splattered on that white cardigan. That’s skill.

“He also went to the Ivy so he would have had a quick meal there too and wouldn’t split a drop.

“Either he’s got a bib or he’s the cleanest diner in the county! “With all that money you would think I would have a full wardrobe.

“Maybe they are new clothes, but they are exactly the same.”

The United manager was seen leaving the Lowry Hotel on Thursday.

On Friday he went to The Ivy restaurant and on Saturday San Carlos, both in the center of Manchester City.

Speaking about his appointment as boss in April, Ten Hag told United’s website: “It is a great honor to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am very excited about the challenge ahead of us.”
