Madelyn Cline appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on November 23, wearing a teal-green dress with matching boots.
For her appearance on the show as she continues her promotional tour for her new movie “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” Cline wore a long-sleeved chartreuse gown with a scoop neckline, side slits on the bodice, a slightly flared hem at the skirt and a fine rope belt by Alexandre Vauthier.
The brand’s colorful spring 2022 line featured colors ranging from absinthe green to turquoise, a continuation of its contrasting all-black couture collection.

She paired the dress with a matching pair of pointy boots, from Alexandre Vauthier’s spring 2022 collection.
Of her spring collection, Vauthier told WWD: “It’s great to see a fizz again, with people going out again, but I got the feeling that COVID-19 pushed people back to the essentials. If my clothes are essential for some clients, I am delighted.”
Cline worked with stylist Mimi Cuttrell to create her look for the television appearance. Cuttrell also works with Maude Apatow, Gigi Hadid, and Lili Reinhart.
For makeup, Cline selected Hung Vanngo, who went heavily into earth tones for the actress. Cuttrell wore a matte lip, a hint of pink blush in a clay shade, copper-toned smoky eyeshadow and mascara. For hair, Cline worked with Danielle Priano, who gave the actress wavy curtain bangs and a pin-up chignon.
During her interview with Jimmy Fallon, Cline opened up about her movie and her plans for Thanksgiving, where she didn’t cook. The actress told Fallon: “I don’t cook. It is in everyone’s best interest if I don’t.”
“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” began a week-long limited theatrical release on November 23. The film will stream on Netflix starting December 23.
