LVMH Award 2023 for young fashion designers, 10th edition: call

Registration for the 10th edition of the LVMH Award will open from Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Applications must be submitted on the Prize website: lvmhprize.com.

will close in Sunday, January 29, 2023.

The semifinal will take place on Thursday March 2 and Friday March 3, 2023.

It will be available to everyone on the Prize website and on social media from Thursday 2 March 2023, and will be an opportunity for Prize Experts and the public to discover and select competing designers.

Delphine Arnault declares: “Ten years after its creation, the LVMH Award has become a benchmark, a key player in the training of young designers. It has evolved over the years: the Award reflects the developments and trends driving fashion and, more broadly, society. Many influential young designers have participated in the last ten years, which demonstrates the role that the Prize plays in detecting talent”.

The LVMH Award is open to designers under the age of 40 from around the world, who have created at least two womenswear, menswear or genderless collections. Reward:

The winner of the LVMH Award for Young Fashion Designerswho receives an endowment of 300,000 euros and enjoys personalized mentoring by LVMH teams in many fields, such as sustainable development, communication, copyright and corporate legal aspects, as well as marketing, production and the financial management of a brand.
Karl Lagerfeld Award Winnerwho receives an allowance of 150,000 euros and also enjoys a year-long mentorship by LVMH teams.

The LVMH Award for Young Fashion Designers aims to sensitize the winners to environmental issues in the design and production processes. Each one enjoys a specific mentoring program as well as a bonus (20,000 and 10,000 euros) on the Nona Source platform, which aims to revalue dead materials from the Group’s Fashion and Leather Goods Houses.

In addition, every year, in collaboration with fashion schools, the Award distinguishes young fashion school graduates. Applications for this award are open from December 1, 2022 to March 19, 2023.
