Local Couture What You Missed at the Denver Fashion Week Day 1 Show 303 Magazine

Denver Fashion Week (DFW) got off to an amazing start last night, for Day One: Local Seam at the sports Castle, A place not Plus Ultra. From the venue to the show, everything was impressive. Night One dedicated itself to local couture and welcomed our local designers to show off their latest looks.

steve sells, Rachel Marie Hurst, Mona Lucero, SKYEAIRE, Menez to Society, tyne hall, INHERENT, WasteY gyidah took over the first night of this week-long event, with many more eyes on the table.

In a two-story venue, models performed on both the catwalks above and below. Starting at the top and then heading to the bottom runway, the models tackled walking two runways last night.

Steve Sells kicks off the show by showing off his latest collection with a splash of color. He presents his designs, worn mostly by middle-aged models, in an elegant way. The collection featured an attainable and chic look with sheer gowns and dresses. This designer started the show off with a bang on the first night of DFW.

Rachel Marie Hurst

Hurst takes the show with her fabulous floral designs. His looks featured a sweet pink color with flowers placed differently on each of his pieces. With a variety of models, Hurst wowed the audience.

Mona Lucero

As soon as the music began, the public waited eagerly to see the collection of this designer. With bold colors and different unique silhouettes, this designer caught the attention of the audience. Lucero brought a new look to Denver Fashion that got the audience excited.

SKYEAIRE

Skye wowed the crowd with her incredible designs. The first model stepped out in a bodycon dress with a massive headpiece and the crowd was instantly intrigued. Skye took different abstract silhouettes and created beautiful designs.

Menez to Society

When Menez hit the runway, his jaw dropped, Menez brought a sexy workwear style to the table and the audience adored it. With this collection, he is sure to look his best working in the Denver area and also have a confident and fierce appearance.

tyne hall

Hall brings a collection to die for for the audience. She brings a gothic and dreamy look that the audience gobbled up. With bold looks and darker colors, this is just what Denver needed to spice up next season’s outfits.

INHERENT

With affordable fashion in Denver, this designer brought an amazing collection to the table. For people who are on the go but still want to be in style., this collection checks those boxes.

Waste

Wastebound brings a more edgy look to the Denver fashion scene. With different cutouts and colors, the designer, Yang Ting Ting, keeps the audience’s attention. As the models came out one by one in different silhouettes, the crowd became more intrigued. While still achieving an achievable Denver look.

gyidah

To end the show, Giydah brought an avant-garde collection. From crochet designs to layers, this look wowed the audience.

Overall this show and the experience left the audience wanting more. People wore their best outfits and then raved about the collections. Last night’s designers took the stage and brought their best pieces; the audience was nothing but excited.

After last night’s experience, Denver will be looking forward to day two: kids and hair.
