Two days after unveiling his designs for Louis Vuitton’s fall winter 2023 menswear collection, American designer Colm Dillane turned his fall winter 2023 KidSuper show into a comedy club.
Always up for throwing an unusual fashion show, the Saturday night event in Paris was hosted by supermodel and TV personality Tyra Banks, who changed her appearance 10 times during the hour-long stand-up comedy event with eight artists. Comedians Yvonne Orji, Jeff Ross, Stavros Halkias, Andrew Santino, Andrew Schultz, Theo Von, Fary and Matteo Lane took the stage at the Casino de Paris to perform in the latest KidSuper collection.

“We’ll see how it goes, it could totally bomb,” Dillane said. “But that’s also the great thing about some of the fashion shows I do; They are risky.”

The performance and collection on Saturday night reflect Dillane’s vision of fashion: “It should continue to be creative, fun and lighthearted.” According to the show notes, this collection “plays the KidSuper playbook masterfully” with brand codes like art, colors, prints, collages in everything from classic streetwear to lively tailoring and coats. The show also featured two upcoming exclusive collaborations with jewelry brand Pauer and shoe brand Stuart Weitzman.
According to the show notes, the footwear collaboration was co-created by Stuart Weitzman, Head of Design, Edmundo Castillo and Dillane, and brings together the shoe brand’s signature silhouettes with curated pieces of Dillane’s art.
Worn by Banks, the end result is a capsule of “wearable works of art that nod to Stuart Weitzman’s vision of creating shoes that combine artisan Spanish craftsmanship and a precision-engineered fit to empower women to stand their ground.” the notes say. The collection is scheduled to launch on stuartweitzman.com and in select Stuart Weitzman boutiques worldwide on February 22, 2023.

As for the rest of the footwear, colored loafers and boots featuring Dillane’s signature artwork also made an appearance.
