JW Anderson Teases Frog Clogs Ahead of Milan Fashion Week

JW Anderson is quickly becoming one of the funniest fashion designers around, and for good reason. No stranger to having a little fun on the runway, the brand’s recent London Fashion Week showcase saw Emily Ratajkowski strutting through a Soho casino and her latest bag launch took the shape (and flight) of a royal dove.

Now, the brand has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming Milan Fashion Week collection, and essentially, it’s a frog-inspired pair of clogs. While that may sound like a weird kids lullaby and a bit of a joke, we can assure you that we are 100% serious. Creative director Jonathan Anderson shared an image of the new shoe on his own Instagram account, with the cryptic caption reading “Milan.” The brand itself shared a video clip of the clogs in action, with a caption that read “SHOUTS.”

The image shows a green rubber upper complete with a red tongue-shaped sole and yellow protruding eyes. The slip-on appears to be a collaboration with froggy Wellington boot brand, Wellipets, as a collaborative logo adorns the shoe’s insole and appears embossed on the outsole.

Take a closer look at the clogs above and check out the video below.
