Inside Paris Men’s Fashion Week with Adamu Bulus

The new face takes Document behind the scenes at Louis Vuitton, divulging this season’s best looks and best catering.

Since beginning his career in 2020, model Adamu Bulus has secured his place as one of the fastest growing talents in the industry. A returning face at Louis Vuitton, she’s walked for DIOR, Moncler, Versace and Jil Sander, posed editorially for Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Numéro and Hunger Magazine (and earned a Breakout Star nomination from Models.com) along the way. A pandemic-induced hiatus barely slowed Bulus down. “Everything is getting better, thanks to me, my agencies around the world, my casting directors and the clients I’ve worked with,” he tells Document, midway through Paris Men’s Fashion Week. “I had an incredible year and I think I will continue to break new ground.”

It’s a busy stretch for anyone in the fashion world, but for models, perhaps, most of all. Between auditions, auditions, shows and endless parties, Bulus found time to chronicle her work week, divulging her best and hardest moments, her dream collaborations and her favorite Fall/Winter 2023 looks.

Document Journal: Walk me through a day in the life at Fashion Week.

adamu bullus: It’s a full body workout, going from auditions to tryouts, and then shows and parties. It can be the busiest and most interesting time for a model.

Document: How was the energy at the Louis Vuitton show?

adamu: Louis Vuitton is always so beautiful. From the collection itself to the catwalk set, impressive. It is always so wonderful to walk LV. It never gets old.

Document: Any piece of the program you’d like to take home with you?

adamu: Louis Vuitton Basket sneakers and this metallic varsity jacket.
