Fashion house Loewe and running brand On have just launched the second edition of their highly anticipated collaboration.
First released in March, their redesigned trail running shoes and performance apparel have not only been highly sought after, they have redefined the boundaries between fashion and sportswear.
The initial collection included apparel for men and women and a redesign of two of On’s best-selling trail running shoes, the Cloudventure and Cloudrock shoes.
Now Loewe x On has released five new editions of the Cloudventure sneaker, spanning yellow, navy, white and black colourways.
They have also relaunched two of the initial colors, orange and khaki.
On the first collection, Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson called the collaboration “a dream come true.” .

Wondering if the shoes will really be good for running? Good question and short answer, yes they will. While they’ve had a cutting-edge redesign, they’re still the same performance-driven shoe, with a high-grip rubber outsole and a hidden midsole plate for speed and stability.
Worried about getting them dirty on the trails? There’s also a fender, to boot. (I’m also a big fan of hand-pressed marble soles.)

I love the contrasting colors of yellow, red and cream on these Cloudventure. I think they would look great paired with a blue striped shirt. However, please note: the shoes run small, so I would recommend going up a size.
