What did you learn from GW2?
Holly Shand: Gabriel Jesus (£8.1m) will be fantasy gold this season. He managed four attacking returns and dominated the underlying figures for shots into the box (7) and expected goals (1.44). I’m also confident that attacking returns from Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) and Andy Robertson (£7m) will come soon as they both run well in the open play and take the ball. standing and corners. Should we be worried about Salah?

A word of warning here though, given Salah’s extensive ownership, if he does well in a Gameweek where many have him as captain, he could get a big red arrow. It all depends on your appetite for risk!
Will Kevin De Bruyne join Erling Haaland as a must-have?
Holly Shand: Owning Erling Haaland (£11.7m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£12.1m) is a big part of his fantasy budget, especially when Man City’s defense looks solid at the moment. : They are the only team that gives zero big chances. Remember that you can’t be the captain of both in a Gameweek either, so pick one and stick with them.
FPL Heisenberg: De Bruyne was fantastic against Bournemouth, but if you have both Man City awards that limits your captaincy options. Whereas, if you have a premium asset from Liverpool and Man City, that gives you more opportunities to target the match easier when deciding who to captain. If you fancy De Bruyne beating the likes of Salah in the next five or six weeks of play, then go for him, but I’ll keep faith with Salah a bit more personally.

Is it time to back Ivan Toney and Brentford?
FPL Heisenberg: If you’re looking for a mid-priced FPL Forward, look no further than Ivan Toney (£7.1m). Big fixtures, nailed to playing 90 minutes week in and week out, on penalties and is involved with goals and assists from open play. His assist to strike partner Bryan Mbeumo (£6m) for Brentford’s fourth goal against Man United was an exceptional pass that even De Bruyne would be proud of.

Holly Shand: Toney could be a great option this season as the talisman for a Brentford side that have started the season with a lot of confidence. If he is looking for a replacement for Darwin Nunez (£9m) and already has Jesus, then Toney is the next best thing.
Bukayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli?
Holly Shand: As a frustrated owner of a Bukayo Saka (£8m), it may be time to admit defeat that it’s not worth the extra outlay over Gabriel Martinelli (£6.3m), who really he is excelling in his union game with Jesus. This pair have shared corners, but Saka is believed to be on penalties. Saka may have more license to advance if Takehiro Tomiyasu (£4.4m) returns for Ben White (£4.5m).
FPL Heisenberg: I tipped Martinelli over Saka in the Sky Sports FPL pre-season column and so far it has proven to be the right call. This really was a no-brainer for me, I always felt that Martinelli was FPL’s greatest asset. Martinelli has scored in both games and is now worth £6.3m. I want more from him though and expect a double-digit comeback against Bournemouth.
How do we replace Darwin Núñez?
FPL Heisenberg: We mentioned it before, but the favorite here is Toney. You can then deposit the £2m saved into Nunez and use it to reinvest the money in upgrading his team in future Gameweeks. However, if you don’t have Harry Kane (£11.4m) or Haaland, this could be an opportunity to get one of them if you can find the funds.

Holly Shand: Jesus is Nunez’s replacement, having dominated Gameweek 2. If he can get funding from elsewhere, bringing up Kane or Haaland would make sense. For those who need a cheaper option, Toney and Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.6m) are my favorite options.
What should we do with underperforming midfielders like Pedro Neto and Leon Bailey?
Holly Shand: The owners of Pedro Neto (£5.5m) should try to bench him this week if possible and then give him time to deliver at Gameweeks 4-6 when Wolves take on Newcastle, Bournemouth and Southampton. Leon Bailey (£4.9m) is a sale now or bench if he has the team depth. A lot of the options at this price point don’t impress, so it may have to be a two-transfer move to upgrade him by demoting another player elsewhere.
FPL Heisenberg: If you’re looking for a cheap replacement for your midfielder, look no further than Pascal Gross (£5.6m). Brighton have favorable matches for the next six weeks of games and cost just £5.6m. Gross could be on penalties, he has taken seven of Brighton’s nine corner kicks and has the highest tackles into the box of any midfielder. He’s coming into the box regularly and he’s also on the tail end of big opportunities, which is encouraging for his FPL points potential. Goals and incoming assists of the German midfielder.
