Eva Longoria is having a great fashion week so far. She started out by attending her friend Victoria Beckham’s show on Friday night and will hit the runway on Sunday night. In between, she attended the Elie Saab show at the Palais de Tokyo.
“It couldn’t have gone better. I mean, the reviews are amazing,” he told WWD about sitting front row at Beckham’s show. “She was crying and I was crying because I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” she said of the rounds of applause.
“It meant a lot to her that she did well in Paris. And it was just a moment in her career and I think it was the best show of her life,” she said.
The two have been friends for more than 15 years, when the designer lived in Los Angeles, California, she had experimented with her VB Rocks jeans line and had not yet launched her Victoria Beckham brand. “I remember when she was talking about starting a line, like it was a dream. And now she is so successful in this space. So I’m definitely a proud and proud friend.”
Longoria made the trip to Paris a month after her six-month shoot in Spain on her new bilingual Apple TV+ drama “Land of Women.” She is an executive producer under her label Unbelievable Entertainment and is shooting in the Spanish wine country.
But it’s her long-standing job as a spokesperson for L’Oréal that brought her to Paris, where she will walk in the beauty brand’s show on Sunday night at the city’s École Militaire.

Longoria may be used to taking charge behind the camera with her production duties, but hitting the runway can still make her nervous.
“It’s not my medium, I’m just a dumb actor,” he joked. “I’m not a model, so it’s definitely stressful. And there are always so many people at that show, it’s always one of the biggest shows, and that makes it even more harrowing.” Longoria will walk alongside his partner Andie MacDowell in the courtyard of the historic barracks.
She arrived at the Elie Saab show fresh from a fitting for that show. Although she did not say who the designer will be, “a French one,” she praised the setting.
“I love that they chose the military academy,” he said. “That’s such a historically masculine thing, and putting a feminist brand on it, it’s pretty bold.”
