Details of the Real Madrid x Adidas Y-3 collaboration

Real Madrid CF and Y-3 have come together for 2022 to mark a year of shared celebration. As the Spanish soccer club turns 120, the collaborative partnership between Yohji Yamamoto and adidas celebrates its 20th anniversary.

To honor both moments, the duo have come together for the first time since Y-3 designed the club’s third kit for the 2014/15 season. Encompassing apparel and accessories both on and off the pitch, the collaboration seeks to seamlessly fuse the realms of sport and fashion with a symbolic fusion of dynamism and speed.

The collection is headlined by an all-black fourth kit with white details and a pink goalkeeper kit, both featuring Y-3 branding as well as hand-painted stripes, numbers and names. The warm-up tops, jackets and pants also arrive with reflective flashes, along with off-pitch pieces like an elongated scarf and vanity bag.

The campaign, which is titled “The Ceremony”, features Real Madrid stars such as Karim Benzema, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy, as well as club legend Iker Casillas.

The Y-3 collection for Real Madrid is now available to purchase through the adidas and Real Madrid web stores.

In other news, former Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has broken FIFA’s all-time scoring record.
