‘Serving the Royals: Inside the Firm’. A 2015 documentary posted on Amazon Prime Video showed the royal butler, Paul Burrell, describing the King’s demands. He mentioned that the list of demands was given to the King’s staff so that they could attend to him as he required, according to reports.

Paul Burrell stated that the King wanted the staff to do everything for him. He wanted his pajamas ironed every morning. Even his shoelaces had to be flattened with an iron. Other habits of the King
Graham Newbould, a former royal staff member, also mentioned the King’s breakfast. He said the King ate a healthy meal that included a plate of fresh fruit, homemade bread and fresh fruit juice. Wherever the King traveled, his breakfast box always traveled with him. The box contained six types of honey, special muesli, dried fruit, and other items that the King was picky about.
Another royal insider revealed that the King insisted that his crackers and cheese be heated to a specific temperature after a meal. The King kept a walking stick with a heating tray nearby to ensure the desired warmth.
