Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing recently paused his designs for French women to capture the bold spirit of the 1980s in honor of the Netflix series. Strange things. The global initiative collects gently used jackets and distributes them to vulnerable community members around the world, with the goal of providing 15,000 people with coats. Andrea Pascual’s namesake brand has launched its first unisex collection, paying homage to her Filipino heritage and family. Entitled From Time, the fall 2022 capsule is a tribute to the past, nodding to Pascual’s humble upbringing and the diverse Toronto communities in which she grew up. The assortment includes printed silk scarves and varsity bombers with the words “Kiss Teeth” emblazoned on the back.

With a focus on sustainability and quality, Canadian outerwear brand Wuxly has collaborated with Koolway Sports to address the need for stylish, weather-appropriate outerwear for people with physical disabilities. The result is the brand’s first adaptable parka, made especially for wheelchair users. It features a half back option that eliminates excess fabric behind the body, a sleeve zipper from the cuff to the bottom of the side seams, a removable hood, reflective tape, and openings for optional med tubes. Equipped to withstand temperatures from -15°C to -25°C, the user will be prepared for their favorite winter rides.
