4. Exalted and asymmetrical curves in Michaela Stark’s lingerie

In just two years, designer Michaela Stark has made a name for herself with her exuberant creations, exalting the curves and the smallest corners of your body. Obsessed with corsets, the Australian designer develops her work at the crossroads between art and fashion, against the dictates imposed on the female body. Clothes are a tool that she uses to deform her body during her performances, like the one at 3537 in 2021, where she adapted a whole series of Jean Paul Gaultier pieces that she cut out and assembled on her body. For this Spring-Summer 2023 Fashion Week, she presents her first limited edition collection of lingerie, corsets and accessories. The designer offers delicate pieces made with precious fabrics, such as silk, organza, lace and French muslin, in vibrant colors: powdery pink, fuchsia, khaki and camel. The collection includes a range of their iconic Asymmetrical Boob Corsets, which reveal one breast. Other lingerie pieces, such as camisoles and babydolls, express a kind of decadent femininity through the layering of voluminous volumes at the hips. The straps rub shoulders with the pleated panties for a completely transparent result. Through this collection and bespoke pieces, Michaela Stark shares her vision of femininity and offers her clients the opportunity to celebrate her own body.
