Evoking the feeling of a gallery, Casa Loewe Barcelona has just been renovated. As you peruse Paseo de Gracia (a high-end fashion district in Barcelona), step into the world of Loewe and enjoy not only the fashion offerings the Maison has on display, but also the art pieces that make the space a wonderfully curated respite.
Led by its creative director Jonathan Anderson, the location’s extensive reimagining is now open to the public. Here, the House features installations by artists such as Tanabe Chikuunsai IV, whose large-scale sculpture constructed from bamboo will be a focal point. Another work of art to consider is the dramatic black dangling furry hug by Haegue Yang that shares the entrance with a stained glass window by Richard Wright.
The sculptural creations of the 2021 finalists of the Loewe Foundation Craft Award will also be scattered throughout the space, waiting for you to discover them.
Dior opens a unique concept store in Seoul

On the occasion of Dior’s Fall 2022 fashion show in Seoul, the Maison opens a unique concept store in Seongsu-dong, a district that was once an industrial zone. Currently in its time of rebirth, the district represents an innovative and avant-garde spirit. This ephemeral space is designed to evolve as the seasons progress.
While the metal mesh is emblematic of the 30 Montaigne façade, the interior is an oasis that is a celebration of Monsieur Dior’s love of flowers. And while all of the different Dior collections are housed in different curated spaces, the décor acts as the Korean constant that unites the entire store.
In this space you can experience original pieces by Korean designers such as Kwangho Lee (who makes sculptural furniture out of Styrofoam) and Jeonghwa Seo (who fuses metal and natural fibers into furniture). As a true tribute to Korean craftsmanship, the Maison’s icon toile-de-jouy is reinterpreted on traditional Hanji paper, made by mixing mulberry fiber and natural wood pulp. An immersive multimedia art created in collaboration between the brand and Korean digital design company d’strict is the latest surprise to be discovered at the Dior Concept Store in Seoul.

More fashion news: Louis Vuitton’s new bags are here, and the collection is created using completely new design techniques that are specific to each model. Elegantly youthful, the calfskin used for this collection is supple and soft to the touch, with a bouncy, cloud-like effect. The leather is also impressed with Monogram embroidery, resulting in a quilted look.
This function is an example of the Maison’s know-how, since, for example, the Alma BB bag requires more than 15,000 stitches to create. Each piece is finished by hand to support the utmost precision in seam placement.
The collection comes in a splendid range of colours: icy blue, dragon fruit and banana for those who love colours, and snow and black for those who love the basics.

Another great frame you might want to try out are Burberry’s cat eye sunglasses accented with palladium-plated details inspired by the brand’s Olympia bag.

Alternatively, this pair from Burberry comes in a boxy frame in injected nylon, accented with an embossed logo at the temple.
