A video purporting to show two brothers sharing the last bit of food went viral on Twitter, melting the hearts of viewers.
Uploaded to Twitter by the user Figen (@the Figen_) on Monday, the couple’s bonding video garnered more than 11.9 million views and 461,000 likes as of this writing.
Captioned: βMy heart melted!πβ€οΈβ, the short clip shows what appears to be an older brother and younger sister eating together at a dining table. Near the end of her meal, the girl reaches into a plate with her chopsticks to grab the last remaining piece. When she sees her brother trying to find another piece of food with her chopsticks, she allows him to take the last piece of food.
Instead of taking the last piece for himself, the boy dips the food in a sauce and places it on his sister’s plate. Smiling, the excited sister turns to her brother and kisses him on the cheek in thanks.

Like the person who uploaded the video, Twitter users fell in love with the boys, admiring their apparent bond and compassion for one another.
“So sweet… Each of you must feel it when you have siblings. Everything we share. As people always say, ‘sharing is caring.’ When you are growing up and your other siblings have their own lives, you will miss these moments and I will never forget them,” said one user.
Another user added: “This brought me to tears, especially as a parent. Children often have a much stronger connection to the loving light of heaven/higher dimensions/creator/God than adults. As time goes by, people lose its inherent sweetness..”
