It’s just another day in the world of Julia Fox and Kanye West, where dramatic shoes reign supreme and Paris Fashion Week sets the stage for a couture playground.
Over the weekend until today, the new couple appeared at fashion shows in France together, sporting three great matching looks. First, the two appeared at the Kenzo show to see the debut collection of art director Nigo, a longtime friend of West’s. There, the rapper and Fox paired denim, drawing comparisons in line with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s infamous double denim moment in 2001.
Fox, in particular, stood out in a cropped denim jacket with 3D tapered chest features from Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection. He wore the top with baggy low-rise jeans and slouchy denim boots from Diesel. Accessories included theatrical gold heart earrings (also by Schiaparelli), a black handbag and, of course, her signature black gloves.
Meanwhile, West was shown in a quilted denim jacket and matching jeans from Balenciaga, paired with knee-high black utility boots from Red Wing.

The couple was equally theatrical at dinner that night. Fox wore a one-shoulder red patent dress designed by Rick Owens. His high asymmetrical hem highlighted her metallic stiletto boots, which she teamed with elbow-length silver gloves. To keep warm, the actress donned a loose leather coat.
West outfitted Fox in his own leather outerwear, a distressed biker jacket, leather pants, his Red Wing utility boots, and a gray hoodie, plus what looked like pale, wolfish contact lenses.

For their final appearance at Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli spring/summer 2022 couture show, the pair were once again coordinated in head-to-toe leather. West appeared to be wearing the same leather fit as the night before, but this time, she added some drama with a black face mask.
For her part, Fox opted for another cone-bra creation from the French fashion house, wearing a zip-front leather minidress, leather leggings and trompe l’oeil Schiaparelli boots on the toes. She accessorized with gold earrings from the label, as well as a gold handbag.
