Nike teams up with Jacquemus for his latest fashion collaboration

Jacquemus confirmed a previously hinted link with the sportswear giant, posting an image of a tennis court sandwiched between both brands’ logos on Instagram.

The French designer is following in the footsteps of luxury brands like Dior and Off-White, whose sell-out partnerships with Nike generated a stir online and commanded sky-high resale prices on the secondary market.

Jacquemus’s Nike collaboration will span apparel and footwear, with designer Simon Porte Jacquemus reinventing Nike’s Humara shoe. “It was important that the collection be accessible, for all bodies, and be a natural blend of Jacquemus style and Nike performance,” Jacquemus said in the statement.

Jacquemus first teased the link last September, when the models wore unidentified Nike sneakers in a photo shoot for his La Montagne collection.

The line will debut on June 28 on the Jacquemus website. It will also be available at Nike stores around the world.
