The University of Arizona Presents: “Dogs ‘N Denim: A Fashion Show!”
This charitable canine fashion show benefits the Fashion Industry Science and Technology program at the University of Arizona’s Norton School of Human Ecology.
This unique fashion event will highlight the talents of fashion students in the new FITS major. It is a service-learning project that involves design, sewing and sustainability. This year’s theme is the “Mutt Gala”. Through sustainability internships at the University of Arizona, fashion students designed and made capes with used denim and other donated materials. The capes will be sold in a silent auction to benefit the FITS Commander. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Cutting Edge Sewing Club and the University of Arizona Pre-Vet Club.
The Dogs ‘N Denim Fashion Show is free for general admission and VIP seats can be purchased for $10 at the Eventbrite link below. Only cashless payments are accepted at this event.
All dogs and people are welcome! Please make sure all dogs are on a leash.
