Lisa Aiken is now Executive Fashion Director at Vogue.com

As commerce content becomes an ever-increasing focus, Vogue.com has chosen one of the fashion industry’s most prominent buyers. Lisa Aiken has been named executive director of fashion at the site, where she will lead business strategy and oversee revenue-generating editorial features. The British street style accessory was most recently at Neiman Marcus, where she was director of fashion and lifestyle, following a long spell at Moda Operandi as vice president and director of fashion buying. In her new role, she will report directly to Anna Wintour, chief content officer at Condé Nast and global editor-in-chief of Vogue, as well as Mark Pilipczuk, the company’s senior vice president of consumer revenue. “I am very excited to have Lisa join the Vogue team at such an exciting time,” Wintour said of her appointment. “Our colleagues around the world are collaborating like never before and experiencing incredible digital growth. Lisa’s extensive experience in a luxurious e-commerce space and cross-platform team building. Her natural leadership has made her an exemplary choice for this role, and I look forward to seeing how she can further expand Vogue’s global footprint and pave the way for innovative partnerships.”

Chanel will host the next Métiers D’art show in Dakar

Mark your limes: On December 6, Chanel will present its Métiers D’art collection in the Senegalese capital, Dakar. “By choosing Dakar, the Maison wishes to make the know-how of its Métiers d’art resonate with the artistic and cultural energy of the city,” the luxury brand said in a media alert. Dakar has long been West Africa’s capital of haute couture crafts, boasting a vibrant street style scene thanks to its lively markets and luxury shopping malls, and is seen as a thriving and emerging fashion hub.

American Dream Announces Next The Food Hall at American Dream

Sure to fill you up while you shop, American Dream is gearing up to open The Food Hall; an elevated fast-casual dining destination at 10,000 square feet that brings together local and international cuisine, wine, beer and games too. Officially opening on July 13, New York City mainstays Lady M and Vanessa’s Dumpling House will cut the ribbon on their first New Jersey outposts. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and Best Pizza will also join the offering, as well as a first-of-its-kind wine concept called Vinoteca. Dream Bar is slated to follow in the fall, with the all-natural Bang Cookies bakery this winter.

Saks Fifth Avenue is coming to the East End… a little bit. For three select weekends between July and September, Saks will partner with Blade whereby travelers will receive a gift from Saks upon check-in and enjoy Saks in the city cocktails from L’Avenue in the Blade Lounge before of takeoff. And if you’re not spending a small fortune to blow up Hamps, you can still have fun, as Saks will also be wrapping certain Hampton Jitneys in its campaign branding. Saks is once again offering same day delivery from the city to The Hamptons for a $25 fee if customers based in Amagansett, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Montauk, Sag Harbor, Sagaponack, Southampton, Wainscott, Water Mill or Westhampton they place an order. Monday to Friday before 10AM.

In a meeting of the minds, Larroudé and LoveShackFancy have teamed up for a variety of retro platformers, perfect for any party girl worth her salt. The founder of the eponymous footwear and accessories brand broke the news today on her own Instagram account, along with Rebecca Hessel Cohen’s Resort ’23 sale live.
