Bottega Veneta has just launched a selection of ‘Come Stai?’ by Gaetano Pesce Chairs

When Bottega Veneta unveiled an immersive set design by Gaetano Pesce inside a warehouse at Milan Fashion Week to introduce the SS23 collection, every corner of the internet was abuzz with excitement for a scene celebrating pure creativity. In addition to making a sculptural resin-coated floor that supermodel Kate Moss strutted with ease, creative director Matthieu Blazy commissioned 400 original chairs from the Italian design pioneer for attendees to sit on during the show.

“This space is a tribute to diversity,” Pesce previously stated in a press release about his design for the Bottega Veneta show. “These are human beings; We are all different. We are all different and this is our defining quality; otherwise we are just a copy. We are all original and this is one of my design themes.”

For those who couldn’t experience the Bottega Veneta installation for themselves, now could be your chance to take home a small part of that saturated world and create your own special design moment without necessarily having to build an entire room filled with resin. . Although it was previously reported that Pesce’s one-of-a-kind chairs would sell out while on display at Design Miami from November 29 to December 4, Bottega Veneta has just released a selection of Come Stai? collection on their website.

Each chair is described as “similar in material but unique in color and shape.” Prices range from $6,500 to $10,900 including shipping and returns. Not surprisingly, some of the chairs are already sold out, so you’d better act fast. Three months later and I’m still thinking about this spectacular collaboration, so needless to say, I get a standing ovation.

But if these colorful hot seats are out of your price range, there’s no need to be ashamed! Coming Soon has lots of affordable Pesce pieces up for grabs that will fill the gap – some of my favorites include coasters, trays, and containers of all shapes and sizes. (While you’re at it, don’t forget to add Out in the World with Gaetano Pesce to your coffee table book stack, too.) soon it will be in the world and it will bring joy to other people somewhere.
